Commission Policy

Commissions are done on a first-come, first-served basis. Requests will be answered within 48-hours, and the timeline of completion depends on the size and complexity of the piece. A timeline will be provided after the sketch has been approved.

When sending a commission request, references are required. Requests without references will not be accepted. A minimum of 3 images is required. Files can be uploaded as individuals or a group. Each individual file cannot exceed 10 MB, and in total files submitted cannot exceed 15 MB. 

A $75 deposit is required to secure each commission. This covers the cost of materials, and goes towards the total price of the piece. The deposit is due within one week from the day the request has been answered and accepted. *The deposit is non-refundable.*

A preliminary sketch will be sent within 72-hours after the deposit has been paid.  No changes will be made after the sketch has been approved, so please make sure all spellings and colors are correct and to your liking. Since this is sent after the deposit is paid, there is no deadline for approval. However, slots will not be held open more than 30-days.

A quote* of the final cost will be sent within 24-hours after the sketch has been approved. This is due within 48-hours after the piece is finished. If a payment plan has been worked out, the first payment is also due 48-hours after it is complete. **NO EXCEPTIONS**

*Subject to change (~$50-$75), the final price is based on how long it took to complete the piece.

When submitting the form, make sure you use an email you regularly check. Email is the main form of communication, and will be used to send all invoices. Also check your spam, not seeing an email is not a valid exception to missing any of the firm dates listed above. Phone number is recommended (but not required) as a back-up for the email.
